Keyboard Shortcut Survey

completed by: Max Vorobuov

mentors: Allan Day

  • Student will be required to record the keyboard shortcuts used by each GNOME application. These will be recorded in a table which will be made available to the GNOME Usability Project (e.g. by sending it to the mailing list).
  • The task will enable the student to learn about key usability principles and will serve as an introduction to software design.
Benefits: this task will help making GNOME usable and user friendly. It will also contribute towards the development of GNOME's usability guidelines.
Requirements: no specific skills, good attention to detail will be important though.
