Get the comic battery monitor  from kde-workspace master or from your distribution KDE development packages, it must be KDE 4.10 beta 1 or newer.

Follow the indications from http://community.kde.org/Getinvolved/Quality/Beta/4.10/Plasma#Beta_Testing_Plasmoids_for_KDE_4.10: use the generic test list to test the Calculator applet and submit bug reports if you find any bugs. Add the bug numbers inthe report. The report is to be done on the wiki page.
