During GCI a stunning Titan map has been created:
http://www.google-melange.com/gci/task/view/google/gci2012/8119209
This task is about improving this map theme even more:
- Add the Hugens landing site to the map theme. The coordinates can easily be found in the matching Wikipedia article. The associated placemark should be integrated into the map theme in the very same way that unmanned landing probes were added to the moon or mars map themes.
- The name of the placemark should be chosen in a way that the correct Wikipedia article gets invoked in Marble's PlacemarkInfoDialog.
- Integrate more weblinks inside the legend description text (like links to the Wikipedia articles of Saturn, Huygens, Titan, Ammonia, etc.).
- Add links from all photos used in the legend to the original webpages that show the file detail page of this image on wikipedia (so that a click on the photo will open the respective file detail page in wikipedia).
- Suggest some ideas for further improvement of the Titan map theme.
