Currently when attempting to run the Mifos X Android app, the following error message gets displayed and the app won't open:

"unfortunately mifosXDroid has stopped"

This has been replicated and confirmed across multiple devices running different generations of the Android OS.

Please identify the cause of the error and provide a fix.
