Your task

Combine Username and Password field in a single prompt: right now user has to insert username first and password later. Expand QTfrontend/ui/dialog/input_password.cpp to ask for a username nicely and remove redundant code from QTfrontend/ui/page/pagemain.cpp.

Please see the discussion on our bug tracker, following this link.

Deliverable

A working patch, that applies cleanly to our source tree. This patch should be in the form of a pull from clone, hg export or unified diff format (in order of preference) implementing the functionality required.

Ondrej on December 1 2012 16:02 UTC Trouble compiling Hedgewars

I'm having trouble compiling Hedgewars on Fedora 17, therefore I can't do much about this task so far.. I'm in the IRC channel, but no one replies to my questions, and I haven't been able to find any working solution on google for the the last 3 hours.

Thanks for your contribution, I've added your patch to our codebase http://code.google.com/p/hedgewars/source/detail?r=70e980278080ad60e795a79faffdefd4a6356ff5

While reviewing your work I found out that user/password management has a few rough edges: would you like to keep on tinkering in this section?

Let's discuss on IRC :)
